WELCOME to our 7th edition of “A Day in the Country” Gazette!
Time.... where does it go? Remember when we were children, time couldn’t pass fast enough. We couldn’t wait for summer vacation, we couldn’t wait until Christmas, we couldn’t wait until we turned 16, 18 then finally 21 when we officially became an “adult”. Then it seemed the minute we turned 21, we wanted time to pass slowly as now we no longer want to get older! OH! What I wouldn’t give to have all that time back. I don’t know about you, but most days, I could use another 2-4 hours. It seems like last fall and winter were just here. It feels like yesterday I was decorating my shop and home for the holidays!! No matter how much we wish time would pass more quickly or slowly; time moves at the same pace it always has and no amount of wishing will change that.
Speaking of time, as usual, it’s that time of the year again when all the shoppes featured in this issue of the gazette are getting ready for the up coming fall and winter seasons. So many new and exciting things are happening in each and every shoppe. We have some new shoppes advertising in this issue…. So be sure to give them a visit and tell them you found them in the gazette. And a few of the shoppes in the Robesonia, Womelsdorf area have teamed up to raise money for the Conrad Weiser PTO’s, so be sure to read more about that inside this issue and help out a very worthy cause. Speaking of worthy causes won’t you please donate items to MY philanthropic cause, the Humane Society of Lebanon County. These cats and dogs are always in need of your help…..and all the donations stay right here.
PS: Don’t forget to keep all your past issues of the gazette for reference & patronize our past advertisers too! And as usual….tell all the advertisers you found them in the gazette!
Harvest & Wynter Thyme Blessings To all!
